ARBOR GALLERY

I am delighted to finally and officially open a small gallery space at our home in Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. When we moved here a few years ago - the distant dream was to realise the potential of our space and location, and offer a setting to view and purchase prints, calendars, cards, my wife’s incredible jewellery and perhaps some other offerings along the way. The name ‘Arbor’ means a sheltered place in a garden formed by trees and bushes which describes well our site which is nestled in the surrounding Caledonian pine forest of Abernethy - the inspiration for much of my local imagery these days.

Arbor Gallery sits alongside The Third Aye Jewellery studio where you can do a workshop to make your very own bespoke and unique pieces. It shares its name with Arbor Bothy - a hand-built modern bothy accommodation for 2 at the back of our plot. As well as a few other projects building, the above has somewhat distracted from photography focus over the past couple of years, but now all ready to go were looking forward to the journey ahead and welcoming you along.

For the moment we are opening by request, so if you wish to visit - just drop me an email and we’ll have doors open and the coffee pot on. At some times of the year we will have opening hours which will be posted online and locally
